Alec Bradley Unveils Fine & Rare BCN-143: A Tribute to the Legacy of Alan Rubin
Fans of Alec Bradley were always looking out for the annual release of the Fine & Rare but since Alan Rubin sold the company to STG, it was a question of if the line would be continued. For example, Balmoral had an annual release in the Añejo Series that was very popular, but since STG purchased Royal Agio, no limited edition Balmoral Añejo hit the market. But fans of Alec Bradley will be happy to learn that the company have announced the Fine & Rare BCN-143, the 12th instalment of the unique blend.
Each Fine & Rare blend consists of ten different tobaccos. The cigar was already blended and rolled before STG took over the brand, so the question remains: will the series continue? For this instalment, Alec Bradley went with a Honduran Trojes Criollo ’98 wrapper. The double binders are Trojes Criollo ’98 from Honduras and Nicaraguan Criollo from Estelí. The filler contains Honduran Jamastran Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Jalapa Criollo ’98, Honduran Trojes Criollo ’98, with Honduran Jamastran Criollo ’98, Honduran Trojes Corojo ’99, Honduran Jamastran Corojo and Nicaraguan Jalapa Corojo ’99, all from the viso priming. There are 2500 boxes of ten cigars made for worldwide distribution.
Bradley Rubin, brand ambassador for Alec Bradley noted, “Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BCN-143 is one of the final blends that Alec and I developed with Alan Rubin. It embodies our passion for exceptional tobacco and our commitment to carrying the brand forward with STG. I’m really looking forward to sharing this new expression with Alec Bradley fans, old and new.”
