Powstanie Cigars has revealed its latest creation, the SBC22 edition, emphasizing the collective effort behind the brand’s success. The name, Surrounded by Champions 22, reflects the collaborative spirit of the Powstanie team, acknowledging that triumphs are the result of collective contributions rather than individual feats.

In a notable departure from the norm, this year’s blend was crafted not by Mike and Gregg Szczepankiewicz, the owners of Powstanie Cigars, but by Skip Martin, the proprietor of Nica Sueno and the Ma in RoMa Craft Tobac. This decision adds an intriguing twist to the release, as Skip Martin’s creations are highly regarded within the cigar industry.

During the PCA (Premium Cigar Association) event, Skip Martin opted to keep the blend details under wraps, leaving the brothers, Mike and Gregg Szczepankiewicz, in suspense. Mike Szczepankiewicz expressed excitement, suggesting that this blend might be one of Skip’s finest creations to date.

The SBC22 edition will make its debut at Smoke on the Water in Weston on December 9th, with shipments to Powstanie retailers commencing the following week. The brand has continued its tradition of giving exclusive releases to select retail partners throughout the year, showcasing and appreciating the diverse network of Powstanie supporters across the United States.

Key details of the SBC22 edition include its Corona Gorda vitola, measuring 5 1/2 x 46, a box count of 20, and a production run limited to 500 boxes. The blend details are intentionally undisclosed, adding an element of mystery to the release. The SBC22 edition will be available at an MSRP of $17 per cigar, offering enthusiasts a unique and limited-edition experience from Powstanie Cigars.
