The European Union Tobacco Product Directive (TPD2) is extending its scope to include tobacco products like cigars, cigarillos, pipe tobacco and smokeless tobacco products becoming mandatory as of May 2024. This includes TRACK & TRACE, which we reported about earlier.

Ecomo Impex is supporting small and medium size companies who ship quantities of cigar products of up to 100 boxes per year offering Cigar Track & Trace service for free.
Track & Trace becomes mandatory for all tobacco products as of May 2024, this implies that every producer, importer and retailer must comply with the labelling and tracking requirements of all tobacco products sold within the EU.
“As Track & Trace becomes obligatory across the EU on May 20th, 2024, small operators encounter technical hurdles and increased operational costs and we understand the challenge this means”, said Hung Ma, Founder and Managing Director of Ecomo Impex.
