New La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse Hits Top Ashton Retailers
If your local retailer is a top Ashton account, you’ll be able to try the new La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse next week. The first shipments of these new cigars will be heading to select shops across the United States on Monday. According to Ashton Distributors Inc., the initial shipment of Noblesse will be sent exclusively to the company’s top 300 accounts, with only 3,000 boxes available. If your tobacconist isn’t among these top accounts, you’ll have to wait for a future shipment.
As an added bonus, Ashton is also offering a limited-edition sampler set that includes four cigars (one size each of the Noblesse) and a branded S.T. Dupont Maxijet lighter. The set has a suggested retail price of $375, with only 800 sets available.
La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse
The La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse was showcased at Ashton’s booth during the PCA trade show in March. It is the seventh line in the extensive La Aroma de Cuba series, produced in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars. Noblesse began as a single-size release in 2014 before expanding to a three-size line but has been commercially unavailable for several years. Now, it returns as a full-fledged brand made in limited quantities.
The new version features slight changes from the original. The wrapper has switched from Ecuador Habano to a darker Mexican San Andrés Oscuro. The binder and filler tobaccos remain all Nicaraguan, sourced specifically from Estelí, Jalapa, and Namanji.
Along with the new blend, the packaging has been redesigned. Noblesse’s boxes and bands now come in a striking shade of lavender.
Noblesse is available in four sizes:
• Regency, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 50 ring gauge ($19)
• Coronation, 6 by 52 ($19.50)
• Viceroy, 6 1/4 by 52 ($19.75)
• Monarchy, 6 1/2 by 56 ($20)
Each size is available in boxes of 24.
La Aroma de Cuba is sold in the rest of the world under the name La Aroma del Caribe, with the exact same blend. The date of when this new blend becomes available for the international markets has not yet been disclosed.
