Ferio Tego Introduces Summa Toro
One year after its debut, Ferio Tego is thrilled to introduce the Toro format to their award-winning Summa Blend. The Ferio Tego Summa Toro, measuring six inches in length with a fifty-ring gauge, is beautifully presented in boxes of ten cigars, offered at an MSRP of $195 per box, and is available for shipping today.
Since its launch in June 2023, the Ferio Tego Summa has garnered widespread acclaim and outstanding reviews. It was awarded 2023 Cigar of The Year and 95 Points from Blind Man’s Puff, 92 Points from Cigar Aficionado Magazine, and placed on several top lists of 2023.
“Each format within Ferio Tego Summa’s original four shapes, tells a version of the Summa blend’s story. The Toro tells the story exactly as it happened, so to speak”, describes Michael Herklots, co-owner and blender of Ferio Tego. “The blend was created in this format, and then edited thoughtfully for the other sizes, bringing out different nuances in each in order to be appropriate for the amount of time spent with each format, but preserving the most important points of the story.”
The Ferio Tego Summa is a “core” line, made regularly throughout the year and consistently year after year. Ferio Tego Summa is comprised of Nicaraguan and Dominican Fillers, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. “It is a full-bodied, full-flavored blend that develops intentionally from start to finish”, described Herklots. “The mouth feel is thick and creamy, but the flavours skew darker and decadent reminiscent of a savoury fudge.”
In addition to the new Toro, Ferio Tego Summa is available in distributed by Davidoff USA throughout the United States.
