Quesada Elevates Casa Magna Liga F Toro Box Press to Regular Production

June 21, 2024 Inspector X 2 min read

Last year, Quesada Cigars, a renowned cigar maker from the Dominican Republic, introduced a limited-edition size of its Casa Magna Liga F blend. This new size, a box-pressed Toro, was made exclusively for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA).

The TAA, known for its selective membership of top-tier tobacconists, was the initial exclusive outlet for this special edition cigar. The introduction of this particular size met with such overwhelming customer demand that Quesada Cigars decided to transition it from a limited-edition offering to a regular production item. As a result, this sought-after cigar is now available to all tobacconists and is currently being shipped to retailers across the globe.

The Casa Magna Liga F Toro Box Press is a carefully crafted cigar, measuring 6 inches in length with a 54 ring gauge. Its construction features a sun-grown Ecuadoran Corojo wrapper, which is known for its robust flavour and aromatic qualities. This wrapper encases a Dominican binder and a rich blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, combining to create a complex and satisfying smoking experience. Each Toro Box Press is packaged in boxes containing 10 cigars, with a suggested retail price of $11.70 per cigar, making it a premium yet accessible option for cigar enthusiasts.

The addition of the Toro Box Press expands the Casa Magna Liga F line-up to five distinct sizes, which now include the Petit Corona, Robusto, Toro, Churchill, and the newly added Toro Box Press. Each size offers a unique smoking experience while maintaining the signature quality and flavour profile of the Liga F blend.

The Casa Magna Liga F line is produced at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación Inc. (TABADEX) factory in the Dominican Republic, a facility known for its high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The international distribution of these cigars is handled by The Longfiller Company, based in Sliedrecht, The Netherlands. This partnership ensures that the Casa Magna Liga F cigars are available to a global audience, allowing aficionados around the world to enjoy these exceptional smokes.

By responding to customer demand and expanding their line-up, Quesada Cigars continues to demonstrate their commitment to quality and innovation in the cigar industry. The Casa Magna Liga F Toro Box Press is a testament to their dedication to meeting the evolving preferences of cigar smokers, offering a blend that is both traditional and excitingly new.
