Illusione’s Two New Releases: OneOff Black & The Group of Five ‘RB’
Illusione is shipping two new releases to stores: the OneOff Black and The Group of Five ‘RB’.
The OneOff Black is an extension of Illusione’s OneOff brand. This new cigar is a 5 x 52 robusto, though the exact blend details remain undisclosed. Illusione has revealed that it includes a unique type of tobacco grown in Nicaragua, which hasn’t been cultivated in the country for some time. This particular tobacco has been aged for three years. Like other cigars in the OneOff line, the OneOff Black is crafted by AGANORSA in Estelí, Nicaragua. Each cigar is priced at $16, with production limited to 1,000 boxes, each containing 10 cigars.
The second release is also a 5 x 52 robusto, named The Group of Five ‘RB’. This marks the inaugural size in Illusione’s new The Group of Five brand, which will eventually feature five different cigars. Similar to the OneOff Black, The Group of Five ‘RB’ utilizes a unique tobacco varietal that hasn’t been grown in Nicaragua recently. Additionally, it incorporates Nicaraguan criollo 98 and corojo 99 tobaccos, although Illusione has not specified which components serve as the wrapper, binder, or filler. This cigar is also produced by AGANORSA in Nicaragua, priced at $16 per cigar, and is available in boxes of 15.
The company has emphasized the enigmatic nature of The Group of Five brand, stating in a press release, “There is just as much mystery surrounding the tobacco as there is about The Group of Five namesake.” The logo of this new brand features the phrase “whispering tongues are treachery” in both English and Latin, adding to the air of intrigue.
With these new releases, Illusione continues to expand its portfolio, offering aficionados unique smoking experiences that blend quality craftsmanship with a touch of mystery. Both the OneOff Black and The Group of Five ‘RB’ are poised to attract interest from cigar enthusiasts looking for something distinct and exclusive.
