Lissette Pérez-Carrillo Joins PCA Board, Bringing Expertise and Passion to the Table

Lissette Pérez-Carrillo’s journey in the cigar industry is marked by passion, dedication, and a wealth of expertise. Her involvement in the world of cigars began at the tender age of five, where she took on the essential task of putting bands on cigars. Despite this early start, she did not limit her pursuits to the cigar industry alone. Lissette went on to achieve graduate degrees in legal studies and psychology, which paved the way for a successful decade-long career as a full-time attorney.
In 2009, Lissette became a co-owner of E.P. Carrillo, joining forces with her brother, Ernie, and father, Ernesto. Her dual expertise in law and the cigar industry uniquely positions her to contribute significantly to the PCA Board.
Lissette Pérez-Carrillo expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, “I feel I can offer the PCA board a unique blend of legal knowledge and first-hand industry experience. I aim to leverage my unique mix of legal and entrepreneurial expertise to advocate for and advance the interests of our industry.
