At this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2024 in Cannes, France, Habanos S.A. unveiled an exciting new addition to its Cohiba line-up, specifically targeting the travel and duty-free market. The new release, called Cohiba Vistosos, is expected to capture the attention of cigar enthusiasts seeking exclusive offerings in this segment.
The Cohiba Vistosos measures 5 7/10 inches (145mm) in length with a 53 ring gauge, matching the vitola of the Trinidad Esmeralda. Like the Esmeralda, the Vistosos will also feature a distinctive pigtail cap, adding a touch of craftsmanship that Cohiba fans have come to expect from the brand. Though detailed information about its pricing has yet to be released, the cigars will be packaged in travel humidors containing 10 cigars, making it a convenient option for aficionados on the go.

A similar situation occurred last year when Habanos S.A. announced the Hoyo de Monterrey Destinos during the 2023 TFWA event in October. That particular release only became available for purchase a year later, and even now, it has not yet reached widespread distribution. Given this precedent, it is possible that Cohiba Vistosos may experience a similar delayed rollout.
