Working closely with Alejandro Turrent, Carioni will focus on expanding the company’s reach, strengthening existing partnerships, and driving sustainable growth through innovative initiatives.

Alejandro Turrent remarked on the significance of this appointment, highlighting Carioni’s vital role in executing Casa Turrent’s strategic vision. Alejandro, who has spearheaded the brand’s international presence since 2000 across 80 countries, plans to shift focus towards strengthening the U.S. market. This includes building a dedicated sales team across key territories to maximise opportunities.

Ricardo Carioni expressed his enthusiasm for joining Casa Turrent, noting his dedication to preserving and advancing the tobacco culture. As a co-founder of The Cigar Academy, he remains committed to promoting education within the cigar community, believing it essential for the industry’s longevity. Carioni’s extensive background includes roles as COO of Tor Imports, CEO of Gesinta, and diplomatic service as Nicaragua’s Deputy Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
