La Aurora Relaunches 100 Años Cigar with Redesigned Packaging at TPE 2025
La Aurora USA is thrilled to announce the relaunch of its iconic 100 Años cigar in the U.S., accompanied by a striking new box design. This celebrated Dominican puro, originally introduced in 2003 to commemorate 100 years of cigar craftsmanship, makes a grand return with a luxurious new look and the same exceptional blend.
Celebrating Legacy and Excellence
Hand-crafted from 100% Dominican tobacco, the 100 Años cigar is a tribute to La Aurora’s century-long legacy of superior tobacco production. The medium-full-bodied cigar boasts a perfect balance of flavours, featuring wood, leather, and cocoa notes. Its reputation was cemented in 2004 when the Belicoso vitola ranked #2 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 and was named Best Dominican Cigar.

New Formats and Availability
The 100 Años will be available in Churchill, Belicoso, Robusto, and Robusto Especial formats, with the latter featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The cigars will debut at the Total Product Expo (TPE) 2025 before shipping to U.S. retailers in late February. Pricing is as follows:
• Robusto (20-count): $340
• Robusto Especial (20-count): $355
• Belicoso (20-count): $410
• Churchill (20-count): $390
An initial run of 500 boxes of Robusto and Belicoso will ship, with Churchill following later in the year.
Redesigned Packaging
The revamped packaging features a luxurious walnut wood finish with a high-gloss sheen, celebrating the line’s heritage. Iconic design elements, such as the emblematic lion and sunrise band, remain central to the presentation. Johnny Oliva, Creative Lead at La Aurora, described the redesign as a “touch of nostalgia” that honours La Aurora’s history.
Anniversary Series and Future Plans
La Aurora’s anniversary series showcases its dedication to excellence, with blends like the 115 Anniversary (Ecuador Sumatra wrapper) and the 120 Anniversary (Dominican Habano ’92 wrapper). Looking ahead, La Aurora plans to release a lancero format for the 120th blend, as it builds toward its 125th anniversary in 2028.
