Designed for aficionados seeking bold, full-bodied smokes, the Oscuro is crafted to complement strong black coffee, high-proof spirits, or a rich, savoury meal.
A Stronger, More Intense Smoke
Lure Cigars owner Lou Cross is no stranger to robust cigars. While previous releases in the Habano and Corojo Oscuro lines showcased complexity and balance, Cross sought an even bolder profile for the Oscuro. “I wanted a cigar that could cut through a fatigued palate while still offering a refined smoking experience,” he explained.
The Blend: Power Meets Balance
The Oscuro features a dark Nicaraguan Oscuro Maduro wrapper with a thick Estelí binder and a potent mix of Nicaraguan fillers, including Ometepe ligero. Expect a full-strength smoke with deep, rich flavours:
• Dark roast coffee
• Freshly tanned leather
• Dry cocoa
• Black peppercorn and dark spices on the finish
This cigar produces dense blue smoke and solid white ash, adding to its refined character.
