Raul Reyner, owner of the Mi Havana Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, is set to launch his own brands under the Cigars by R&R label. The highly anticipated release, featuring nine unique blends across three distinct brands, will begin shipping in early March.
A Trio of Brands with Distinctive Blends
Cigars by R&R comprises three separate brands, each featuring three different blends. These blends are available in a selection of vitolas, catering to various preferences.
Gran Corona: The Full-Bodied Offering
Gran Corona is the boldest of the three, described as full-bodied. Each blend features a Nicaraguan Ometepe binder and a mix of Nicaraguan fillers. The wrapper choices include:
• Gran Corona CT Broadleaf by R&R (USA, Connecticut Broadleaf)
• Gran Corona Habano Oscuro by R&R (Ecuador, Habano)
• Gran Corona Mexico by R&R (Mexico, San Andrés)
Each is available in three vitolas, with prices ranging from $12.87 to $13.64 per cigar, sold in boxes of 12.
Pax Romana: A Mild-Medium Experience
Pax Romana is the mildest of the three brands, with varying blends:
• Pax Romana Connecticut by R&R (Connecticut-seed wrapper, San Andrés binder, Dominican & Nicaraguan filler)
• Pax Romana Habano by R&R (Ecuador Habano Claro wrapper, Condega binder, Dominican & Nicaraguan filler)
• Pax Romana Mexico by R&R (San Andrés wrapper, Jalapa binder, Dominican & Nicaraguan filler)
Vitola options include Churchill, Robusto, and Torpedo, with prices between $12.76 and $13.64 per cigar.
The Soldier King: A Balanced Medium Strength
The Soldier King, inspired by Pedro I of Brazil, is a medium-bodied option:
• The Soldier King CT Broadleaf by R&R (USA, Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ometepe binder, Nicaraguan filler)
• The Soldier King Habano Claro by R&R (Ecuador, Habano Claro wrapper, Ometepe binder, Nicaraguan filler)
• The Soldier King Mexico by R&R (Mexico, San Andrés wrapper, Condega binder, Nicaraguan filler)

Mi Havana’s Expanding Legacy
Beyond producing these cigars, Raul Reyner is known for holding the record for rolling the world’s longest cigar in Pomona, California, where Mi Havana also operates a members-only lounge. With this latest venture, Reyner is set to make a significant mark in the premium cigar industry.
