Bolívar Royal Gigantes: 2025 Colección Habanos Selection
Each year, Habanos S.A. selects an exceptional cigar for its Colección Habanos Series, known for its limited-edition releases packaged in book-shaped boxes. For 2025, the honour goes to the Bolívar Royal Gigantes, a 6 7/8-inch (174mm) x 54 vitola classified as mitos, a new entry in the Cuban cigar naming system.
Production of this exclusive vitola will be limited to only 3,000 boxes of 20 cigars, handcrafted by DeCuba in Pinar del Río. While pricing and launch dates remain undisclosed, collectors and enthusiasts alike will undoubtedly be eager to secure this premium release.
New Regular Production Cigars: Diplomáticos Cancilleres & Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Luis
Habanos S.A. has also expanded its portfolio with two new cigars. The Diplomáticos Cancilleres, measuring 5 1/8 inches (130mm) x 52, is classified as Centrofino. Unlike the Vegueros Centrofinos (which has a 50 ring gauge), this vitola shares its dimensions with past special editions such as the Bolívar
Regentes Edición Limitada 2021 and Partagás Maduro No.1.
Additionally, the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Luis will debut as part of the Le Hoyo Serie sub-brand. Measuring 6 3/10 inches (160mm) x 52, this vitola, named Fragancias, is another new addition to the Cuban vitola list.
Neither of these cigars were showcased at the Festival del Habano XXV, and Habanos S.A. has yet to confirm release dates and distribution details. However, both will be sold in boxes of 25 cigars, further enriching the Cuban cigar portfolio for 2025.
