Montecristo White Series Expands With Elegant Diadema

The Montecristo White Series, known for its mild to medium-bodied blends, is set to welcome a sophisticated new size: the Diadema. This double-tapered figurado will debut on April 11 at the PCA trade show, bringing an added level of elegance to an already celebrated cigar line.

Montecristo’s White Series has long been a favourite among aficionados, offering a refined smoking experience across a diverse range of vitolas. While the lineup included sizes such as Churchill, corona, and grande, it lacked a Diadema—until now. Measuring 6 inches in length with a 52-ring gauge, this newly crafted cigar gracefully tapers at both ends, adding a distinctive visual appeal and a refined smoking progression.

Like its predecessors, the Montecristo White Series Diadema is expertly rolled at Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic. The blend remains consistent with the series’ hallmark flavour profile, featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The result is a smooth, balanced smoke with subtle spice and creamy undertones.

Altadis U.S.A. will offer the Diadema in 10-count and 20-count boxes, with a retail price of $22.50 per cigar before taxes. Orders will be taken at the PCA trade show, with shipments to retailers beginning immediately after the event.

First introduced in 2003, the Montecristo White Series was originally unveiled at the same trade show—then known as the Retail Tobacco Dealers of America (RTDA) convention. Designed as a bolder alternative to the Montecristo Classic Series, it has since built a reputation for its refined complexity. With the addition of the Diadema, the Montecristo White Series now boasts 11 distinct sizes, ensuring there’s a shape and experience to suit every connoisseur’s preference.
