La Galera’s Year of the Snake Cigar Arrives in the U.S.
La Galera is bringing its limited-edition Year of the Snake cigar to the United States on April 2. Previously launched in Asia, this celebratory release features a striking presentation, including a luxurious leather cigar case, making it a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Crafted by Jochy Blanco at the renowned Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic, the Year of the Snake cigar showcases premium, homegrown Dominican tobaccos. The Churchill-sized smoke, measuring 7 inches by 47 ring gauge, is wrapped in a Mexican San Andrés leaf and bound with Dominican Olor. Its filler blend consists of Criollo ’98, Olor, Piloto Cubano, and the rare Pelo de Oro, resulting in a full-bodied smoking experience.
Emphasising the cigar’s thematic inspiration, each mahogany box is adorned with stamped leather designed to resemble snakeskin. Additionally, every box includes a two-finger leather cigar case, further enhancing its appeal. With only 2,025 boxes produced worldwide, availability in the U.S. will be limited, making this a highly sought-after release. The suggested retail price is $430 per 10-count box.
La Galera’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship is evident in this exclusive release. With its bold blend, intricate presentation, and limited production, the Year of the Snake cigar is a fitting tribute to the Lunar New Year and an exceptional addition to any aficionado’s collection.
