Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition Set for April Release

March 25, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

A bold new addition to the Trinidad Espiritu lineup is arriving next month—the Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition. Though not made in Miami, this limited-edition Nicaraguan cigar is designed to embody the city’s vibrant energy and cultural richness, from its striking packaging to its bold blend.

Produced by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, the Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition is made entirely from Nicaraguan tobaccos and comes in a single size: a 6 1/8 x 52 Belicoso. Each cigar will retail for $15, with boxes containing 20 cigars. Only 4,000 boxes are being produced, making this a highly sought-after release for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Capturing Miami’s Essence in a Cigar

Rafael Nodal, head of product capability for Tabacalera USA, expressed excitement about this new release, stating, “Miami is a city that thrives on boldness and creativity, and the Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition truly embodies that spirit. This cigar celebrates the rich culture, historical craftsmanship, and enduring passion that define the Trinidad brand.”

The Trinidad Espiritu Series first launched in 2019 with Series No. 1, an effort by Altadis U.S.A. to revitalise the Trinidad brand in the U.S. market. The series expanded with No. 2 and No. 3, each featuring unique blends with significant Nicaraguan influence. However, the Miami Edition is not part of the numbered series and stands as a distinct, special release.

The Trinidad Espiritu Miami Edition will make its debut at the PCA Trade Show in New Orleans next month, with shipments to retailers following shortly after. Given its limited availability, this exclusive release is expected to generate strong interest among cigar aficionados.
