Foundation Cigar Co. Celebrates 10 Years with Exclusive Aniversario Release
Marking a decade in the cigar industry, Foundation Cigar Co. is commemorating its milestone with the 10 Year Aniversario, a large Salomon-style figurado crafted in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez. This exclusive release will debut at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, with shipments expected later in the year.
A Unique Hybrid Blend
Measuring 7 inches long with a 58-ring gauge, this double-tapered cigar boasts a dark and striking appearance. Its blend is a testament to expert craftsmanship:
- Wrapper: Hybrid Connecticut (Broadleaf x Habano)
- Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
- Filler: Nicaraguan (Estelí, Jalapa, Condega)
The Nicaraguan tobacco is grown by A.J. Fernandez, ensuring rich, bold flavours with a refined complexity.
A Collector’s Item with a Story
The 10 Year Aniversario will be available in two limited editions:
- 10-count boxes – $35 per cigar / $350 per box (2,000 boxes produced)
- 20-count collector’s boxes – $700 per box (750 boxes produced)
Both versions feature St. George slaying a dragon, a symbol chosen by Nicholas Melillo to represent the challenges of the cigar industry and the perseverance of business ownership.
Availability and Release Timeline
- Preview at PCA 2025 in April
- Expected release: Late summer to early fall 2025
