Crowned Heads Unveils New Look and Brand at PCA Trade Show

April 3, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Crowned Heads is set to make waves at the upcoming PCA Trade Show in New Orleans (April 11-14) with the introduction of a fresh brand identity and an entirely new cigar line, “Crowned Heads Broadway.”

A Tribute to Tradition and Hometown Roots

The Broadway name is a dual homage—both to the Broadleaf tobacco used in the blend and to the famed Broadway district of Crowned Heads’ hometown, Nashville, Tennessee.

Some of our most popular releases over the years have featured Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers,” said Crowned Heads founder Jon Huber. “When we were developing a new brand, the idea of taking a ‘Broad(leaf)-way’ approach, along with the legendary status of Nashville’s Lower Broadway district, came together perfectly.

A New Look for Crowned Heads

With the launch of Broadway, Crowned Heads is also debuting a refreshed branding strategy. The company is introducing a new ‘hero logo’ as its primary visual identity, complemented by a secondary band displaying the individual brand name.

We found that while many people recognised Crowned Heads, they didn’t always associate us with some of our key brands like Mil Días, Mil Días Maduro, and La Imperiosa,” Huber explained. “This new approach will better unify our portfolio and strengthen brand recognition.”

Blend & Sizes

Crowned Heads Broadway features a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, a filler blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe, and a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
The cigar offers a medium-plus body with a flavour profile reminiscent of classic maduros—delivering rich notes of coffee, chocolate, and fruit. Broadway will be available in three sizes:

• Robusto Extra (4 3/4 x 52)
• Epicure (5 1/2 x 56)
• Toro (6 1/2 x 54)

The cigars will retail between $11.95 and $12.95 and come in 21-count cabinet boxes.

Release & Production

Crowned Heads Broadway is being manufactured at Nicaraguan American Cigars, S.A. (NACSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua. Shipping is expected to begin in late May.

Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting release as Crowned Heads continues to expand its portfolio with a fresh, unified identity.
