Ashton Expands La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Line with Two New Sizes

Ashton Distributors Inc. has announced the addition of two new sizes to its La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut line: the Belicoso and Double Corona. These cigars are now shipping ahead of their official showcase at the PCA trade show in New Orleans from April 11–14.

A Premium Blend with Classic Craftsmanship

First introduced in 2023, La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut quickly gained a reputation for its smooth yet flavourful profile. Like the original seven sizes, the new additions are crafted at My Father Cigars in Nicaragua under the supervision of the esteemed Garcia family. The blend features a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, all grown on the Garcias’ family-owned farms. Due to trademark issues, the line is known as La Aroma del Caribe in international markets.

Ashton highlights that every leaf undergoes an extensive triple fermentation process, ensuring a refined smoking experience. Each cigar is rolled using the entubado method, a traditional Cuban technique that promotes superior airflow, and finished with a triple cap for a touch of authenticity.

New Sizes and Pricing

The Belicoso, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge, is priced at $9.25 per cigar, while the substantial Double Corona, at 7 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge, carries a suggested retail price of $9.75. Both sizes are packaged in 25-count boxes, catering to aficionados who appreciate premium craftsmanship at a reasonable price point.
