Bentley Tobacco USA Launches with New Lines and AI Collaboration at PCA 2025
Bentley Tobacco, based in Bunde, Germany, has officially entered the U.S. market under the new entity Bentley Tobacco | USA, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. While the move has been anticipated by many within the industry, this marks the first formal announcement, aligning with the brand’s debut at the 2025 PCA Convention in New Orleans.
At the helm of Bentley’s U.S. operations is industry veteran Jonathan M. Carney, appointed Chief Executive Officer and now also a member of the Board of Directors and part-owner. Carney brings nearly two decades of experience in premium cigars, spanning seed-to-cigar development, brand strategy, and executive leadership. Joining him is Michael Wilson, Bentley Tobacco | USA’s new Operations Director, who boasts over twenty years of operational experience across luxury, tech, and hospitality sectors.
Chairman of the Board, Jörg Stermann, continues to steer the global brand from Germany, ensuring strategic alignment as Bentley expands its footprint in the largest premium cigar market in the world.

To mark this milestone, Bentley is introducing updated five-count presentations of its core lines—Bentley Green and Bentley White—in Robusto, Toro, and a newly introduced Short Corona vitola. These cigar packs are designed for portability and shelf efficiency, catering to both retailers and consumers looking for convenience and luxury in one.
The Bentley White Series comes in a clean, white matte-finish box with metallic green accents and Ecuador Connecticut-wrapped cigars that offer creamy, smooth flavours with subtle complexity. The Bentley Green Series, wrapped in Ecuador Rosado, is bolder and more Nicaraguan in character, packaged in an elegant green box with silver foil and a display window for visual appeal.
Bentley is also introducing the Bentley GT (Gran Toro)—a hefty 7 x 70 vitola—from the Green Series to the U.S. market for the first time. A favourite abroad, this vitola now becomes available to select American retailers.
A Bold Step into the Future: The AI Cigar Project
Arguably the most intriguing announcement is the Bentley AI Cigar Project, a futuristic collaboration between master blenders at Joya De Nicaragua and artificial intelligence. This pioneering effort will culminate in the unveiling of the Bentley Black – Limited Edition, set to be revealed in full detail during the PCA trade show.
CEO Jonathan M. Carney remarked, “Our new five-pack formats are an elegant evolution of our core lines—designed to deliver convenience, consistency, and quality. With the GT making its U.S. debut and the AI Cigar Project setting the tone for the future, PCA 2025 is the beginning of a new chapter for Bentley.”
Final Thoughts
With its formal U.S. launch, Bentley Tobacco is laying down strong roots stateside, blending European elegance with American innovation. From updated packaging to AI-assisted blending, Bentley Tobacco | USA is positioning itself as a forward-thinking brand to watch closely in 2025 and beyond.
