Crux Cigars Unveils Marblehead Line and Passport Revival at PCA 2025
Crux Cigars has announced the launch of its new Marblehead line and the long-awaited return of its Passport series at PCA 2025. Both lines reflect the brand’s commitment to value, craftsmanship, and unique presentation.
Crux Cigars Unveils Marblehead Line and Passport Revival at PCA 2025
Crux Cigars is making a strong impression at this year’s PCA Convention & Trade Show, held 12–14 April in New Orleans, with the debut of the Marblehead line and the long-anticipated return of the Crux Passport.
Introducing the Marblehead Line
The new Crux Marblehead takes its name from the company’s distinct cap style, introduced in 2014—a unique hybrid between a belicoso and traditional cap, akin to the Cuban 109-style. This cap has since become a Crux signature and a subtle nod to innovation within a traditional craft.
The Marblehead blend features an Ecuadorian Colorado Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan and Indonesian tobaccos, delivering a well-balanced, flavourful smoke. Crux positions the Marblehead as an everyday premium cigar with standout performance for its price.
Two vitolas will be offered initially, both shipping in 20-count bundles and accompanied by a 60-count retailer display tray:
• Marblehead Gordo (6 x 60) – $8.99 per cigar
• Marblehead Toro (6 x 50) – $7.99 per cigar
Jeff Haugen, owner of Crux Cigars, said, “The Marblehead is designed to be your go-to daily cigar—a blend that hits above its price point with flavour, performance, and consistency.”
Passport Returns with a New Blend
Also announced at PCA is the return of Crux Passport, one of the brand’s original blends from its 2014 debut. Discontinued during the 2019 rebrand, the line makes its comeback with an updated profile and three new vitolas, now produced at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua.
The new Passport blend features an Ecuadorian wrapper with a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler combination, creating a refined, complex smoke that honours the spirit of the original while evolving for today’s smoker.
The three updated vitolas are:
• Super Selection No. 1 (6 x 42) – $10.99 per cigar
• Super Selection No. 2 (5 1/2 x 46) – $11.99 per cigar
• Super Selection No. 3 (6 1/4 x 48) – $12.99 per cigar
Each size will be available in 20-count boxes, with shipping to retailers scheduled for summer 2025.
A Strong Showing from Crux
Between the Marblehead’s approachable pricing and standout construction, and the nostalgic revival of the Passport line, Crux Cigars is clearly investing in both innovation and heritage. For enthusiasts looking to revisit an old favourite or explore a new daily go-to, Crux’s 2025 releases promise quality and value in equal measure.
