Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. has teamed up with General Cigar Co. once again, bringing a new chapter to the La Gloria Cubana brand with the Los Gloriosos line. Set to ship in mid-April, these cigars represent a return to the roots of the iconic brand, crafted at Casa Carrillo.

In the world of premium cigars, few names carry as much weight as Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., whose legacy includes the creation of La Gloria Cubana and the launch of his own E.P. Carrillo brand. Now, in collaboration with General Cigar Co., Perez-Carrillo is making a triumphant return to the brand that first brought him fame, unveiling the La Gloria Cubana Los Gloriosos line.
This new release, crafted at Perez-Carrillo’s Casa Carrillo factory, marks a significant moment in the history of La Gloria Cubana. Known for its rich and full-flavoured cigars, La Gloria Cubana has long been a favourite among enthusiasts. Now, with Los Gloriosos, Perez-Carrillo seeks to recapture the essence of the brand while infusing it with his signature artistry.
The Los Gloriosos cigars are crafted with an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, combined with a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and a filler blend that includes Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos from the Condega and Jalapa regions. This unique blend promises a robust and satisfying smoking experience that fans of La Gloria Cubana will undoubtedly appreciate.
The line will be available in three distinct vitolas:
• Toro (6 x 50) — $8.99 (Box of 20, $179.80)
• Gigante (6 x 60) — $9.99 (Box of 20, $199.80)
• Grandioso (7 x 58) — $10.99 (Box of 20, $219.80)
General Cigar Co. has announced that the Los Gloriosos cigars will begin shipping to retailers on April 14, 2025. Distributed by Forged Cigar Co., the non-Cuban arm of La Gloria Cubana, these cigars will be available to cigar enthusiasts across the United States.

This is not the first time Perez-Carrillo has worked with General Cigar Co. since leaving the company. In 2014, he collaborated with Michael Giannini on the Re+United project, a cigar line that also blended his expertise with General’s reach.
