Luciano Cigars Unveils “The Machinist” at PCA 2025: A Tribute to America’s Backbone

Luciano Cigars will debut The Machinist at PCA 2025, a heartfelt regular production line inspired by the working-class legacy of machinists and labourers, honouring their discipline and resilience.

Luciano Cigars, a key pillar of the Constella Group, is gearing up to unveil its latest offering—The Machinist—at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show. More than just a new cigar, this line is a deeply personal homage to the working class and the values of humility, dedication, and craftsmanship.

The inspiration behind The Machinist is Jack Beaver, a machinist and the grandfather of Josh Beaver, Constella USA’s national key account manager. Jack, described as a humble and hardworking family man, serves as a symbol for all those whose quiet resilience forms the bedrock of society.

“My grandfather never asked for recognition—but he earned respect,” said Josh Beaver in a press release. “I believe this cigar is a tribute to his generation and to everyone who wakes up early, clocks in, and gives more than they take.”

The Blend

Crafted with a Mexican San Andrés viso wrapper, dual binders of Ecuadorian and Indonesian Sumatra, and a diverse filler blend from Pennsylvania, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa, The Machinist is designed to strike a balance of strength and elegance. Flavour notes include fresh-baked bread, cocoa, spice, and a gentle natural sweetness, forming what the company calls “a blend with backbone and balance.”

Vitolas & Pricing

Offered as a regular production line, The Machinist — by Luciano will be available in three vitolas:
• Magnum (5 1/4 x 54) – $11 (Box of 20 – $220)
• Toro (6 x 52) – $11.50 (Box of 20 – $230)
• Gordo (6 x 60) – $13 (Box of 20 – $260)

The cigars are being produced at an undisclosed factory in the Dominican Republic, the same facility behind Constella’s other PCA 2025 releases—Élevé and The Resilient.
