Quesada Oktoberfest Cigars Return for 2025 with Limited Production Run

May 6, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Quesada’s seasonal Oktoberfest cigar line is making a comeback in 2025, blending tradition with a limited-edition twist. Set to ship in August, the cigars are crafted to pair perfectly with German beer.

Although Oktoberfest in Munich is still months away, Quesada Cigars is getting a head start with the return of its beloved Oktoberfest cigar series. Unveiled at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, the cigars are expected to reach retailers by August, just in time for aficionados to enjoy alongside a stein of Bavarian beer.

The Quesada Oktoberfest line has been a staple of the autumn cigar calendar since its debut in 2011, originally crafted with an all-Dominican blend aimed specifically at pairing with traditional German lagers. While early releases occasionally included Nicaraguan tobacco, the blend underwent a significant transformation in 2021. Today’s core features a rich, dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobaccos, all rolled at the Quesada factory in the Dominican Republic.

For 2025, Quesada is releasing the Oktoberfest in five vitolas, each named to honour German beer culture:

• Bavarian – 5 1/2 x 52 ($12.08)
• Kaiser Ludwig (box-pressed) – 6 x 49 ($10.50)
• Das Boot (torpedo) – 6 x 52 ($12.08)
• Uber – 6 x 65 ($12.60)
• Salomon Box Press – 6 3/4 x 50 at its widest ($12.60)

The Salomon Box Press is particularly noteworthy; once an event-only cigar, it now joins the regular line-up due to strong consumer demand. Its double-tapered shape and elegant box press make it a standout both visually and in hand.

All cigars will be packaged in boxes of 10, with only 500 boxes of each size being produced. That limited run ensures this year’s release will be just as exclusive as it is seasonal, likely to sell out quickly once they hit shelves.

Whether you’re planning to attend Oktoberfest in Germany or simply want to recreate the experience at home, the Quesada Oktoberfest 2025 offers a flavourful, craft-focused pairing for your favourite brew.
