Lampert Revamps 1675 Series with New Packaging and Size Focus

May 8, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Lampert Cigars is overhauling its 1675 Series this month, introducing fresh packaging and narrowing its U.S. offering to a single vitola. The changes aim to sharpen the brand’s identity and streamline its retail strategy.

Lampert 1675 Series Gets Packaging Makeover and U.S. Lineup Update

Lampert Cigars is refreshing its 1675 Series with a refined new look and a tighter focus on the U.S. market, set to roll out by the end of May or early June 2025. The update includes redesigned packaging and a reduction in available vitolas for American retailers.

The 1675 line, which includes Azul, Morado, and Rojo blends, will now feature:
• New, more premium packaging
• Added foot bands on all cigars
• A switch from 20-count boxes to 10-count boxes

For the U.S. market, Lampert will offer only the Toro size (6 x 52) going forward. The Short Robusto (3 ¾ x 52) and Robusto (5 x 50) will continue to be available internationally but are being phased out domestically. While U.S. shops may still have stock of these smaller sizes, Lampert will not replenish them once sold.

All cigars in the 1675 Series are handmade at the AgroIndustrial Nicaraguense de Tabacos S.A. factory in Condega, Nicaragua—an operation known for producing quality, boutique-style cigars.

We’re excited to bring a more refined and retail-optimised presentation to our U.S. partners,” said Dr. Stefan Lampert, founder of Lampert Cigars. “With these changes, we’re enhancing the brand’s presence while remaining true to the high-quality experience our customers expect.

The packaging update also comes with a slight price increase: 50 cents more per Toro, a change the company attributes to upgraded packaging and recent tariff impacts.

This move positions Lampert to streamline its offerings and enhance shelf appeal, especially in a competitive premium cigar landscape. U.S. retailers and fans of the brand can expect to see the new presentation in stores very soon.
