Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin Returns in 2025 with Limited Bundles
Tatuaje’s cult classic Pork Tenderloin is making a comeback. Known for its butcher paper wrapping and bold flavour, this 2025 edition revives the original blend and will begin shipping to retailers imminently.
Fans of boutique cigars have something savoury to look forward to this spring: the return of the Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin. First introduced in 2010 as a retailer exclusive in Boston, this now-legendary cigar is wrapped in butcher paper and inspired by premium cuts of meat—both in presentation and flavour. After previously reappearing as an event-only cigar in 2016 and 2017, it’s now receiving its first wide release in years.
Blended by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars and crafted at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Pork Tenderloin 2025 stays true to its roots. It features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, paired with Nicaraguan binder and filler—a combination known for delivering rich, bold flavours with an unmistakable sweetness and a note of smoked meat, according to Johnson himself.
The cigar measures 5 1/8 x 52 and comes finished with a charming pigtail cap, adding a rustic touch. Each bundle includes 25 cigars, with an MSRP of $325 per bundle or $13 per cigar. In keeping with its quirky theme, the cigars are wrapped in white butcher paper, so don’t mistake them for something headed for the freezer.
Production is limited to just 5,000 bundles—a total of 125,000 cigars—ensuring high demand from collectors and seasoned smokers alike. Given its cult following and unique presentation, this re-release is expected to disappear quickly from shelves.
If you’ve never had the chance to try this highly regarded cigar, now’s your opportunity. For those who already know the legend of the Pork Tenderloin, it’s time for a delicious encore.
