La Aurora Opens New Miami Distribution Hub

La Aurora and Caribbean Sunrise Spirits have inaugurated a joint warehouse and headquarters in Miami, enhancing logistics and availability for U.S. customers.

La Aurora USA, in partnership with Caribbean Sunrise Spirits, has officially opened a new distribution centre in Miami, marking a significant step in expanding the León family’s operations across the United States. The facility, which also houses the companies’ U.S. headquarters, will support the logistics of both La Aurora cigars and León Jimenes rums, streamlining their delivery to retailers and consumers alike.

“This grand opening represents a major milestone for both brands,” said Greyci Tineo, COO of both companies, in the official press release. “Our U.S. distribution journey began in April 2023 using a 3PL partner in Houston, but this new facility allows us to hold more inventory and provide quicker, more efficient service.”

The warehouse is more than just a logistics centre. It signals La Aurora’s long-term commitment to the U.S. market and reinforces the company’s position as the oldest cigar manufacturer in the Dominican Republic, with a growing international footprint. By consolidating distribution operations under one roof, the León family also strengthens the synergy between its premium cigars and its expanding spirits portfolio.

Founded in 1903, La Aurora is known for producing high-quality cigars, including the León Jimenes line, which shares its name with the family’s rum brand. This strategic move is expected to boost visibility and market penetration for both product lines, especially in the competitive American premium goods market.
