Phillips & King to Rejoin PCA Trade Show

August 7, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Phillips & King has confirmed its return to the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in 2026, marking a major step forward for the long-standing distributor. The event will take place in New Orleans from 17–20 April 2026, and signals a strengthened commitment to premium cigar retailers.

A Century-Long Legacy Reaffirmed

With roots dating back to 1906, Phillips & King has served as a trusted distributor in the premium tobacco industry for over a century. Through decades of change and growth, the company has supported retailers by offering product expertise, market insight, and unwavering partnership.

This return to PCA isn’t just a reappearance—it’s a renewed promise to the premium cigar space. The company aims to reinforce its role as a strategic ally to specialty retailers during a time when industry unity is more crucial than ever.

Reuniting with the Trade Show that Matters Most

The PCA trade show is the premier event for premium cigar professionals. Phillips & King’s participation reflects a unified effort to support advocacy, regulatory defence, and commercial innovation in the industry.

“We’re coming back to PCA to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our industry partners,” said Sean Cassar, President of Kretek International, the parent company of Phillips & King. “It’s about protecting the rights of specialty tobacco retailers and strengthening the trade community.”

Endorsed by PCA Leadership

The move was welcomed by Joshua Habursky, Executive Director of the Premium Cigar Association:

“I’m excited to have Phillips & King return to PCA as exhibitors in 2026. We’ve already been collaborating on regulatory efforts in California, and I know there’s mutual respect for each other’s contributions.”

A Retailer-First Approach

At the 2026 show, Phillips & King will present exclusive previews, new brand initiatives, and a reinvigorated focus on retailer-first programmes. Their presence will also help amplify PCA’s advocacy work on issues that matter to tobacconists across the country.

“Retailers are the heartbeat of our business,” said Albert Jose, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing at Kretek International. “Our return is about showing up—for them and for the future of premium cigars.”

Phillips & King’s participation underscores its strategic shift towards premium cigars and its dedication to driving commercial, legislative, and cultural progress within the category.
