Hiram & Solomon Cigars Names Benoît Bail Vice President of Sales
Hiram & Solomon Cigars has appointed Benoît Bail as its new Vice President of Sales, expanding the brand’s global strategy. Bail will oversee U.S. market growth, strengthen international distribution, and develop partnerships with retailers and distributors worldwide.
Expanding Leadership at Hiram & Solomon
The appointment highlights the company’s ambition to grow both domestically and abroad. Bail now joins as an associate of the company in addition to his executive role. His mandate includes building the U.S. field sales team, aligning state-level priorities, and managing key accounts.
Internationally, he will guide expansion in Europe, the Caribbean Basin, the Middle East, and selected Asia-Pacific markets. His focus will include clear channel strategies, pricing architecture, and trade programmes designed to support distributors and retailers.
Experience in Premium Cigars and Spirits
Benoît Bail brings extensive experience in the cigar and spirits industries. He has led multi-country sales portfolios, built route-to-market strategies, and supported trade marketing and education initiatives across several continents.
Beyond cigars, Bail is the co-founder of Gëllene Léiw Whisky, a Luxembourgish brand. He has also contributed to high-profile trade events, including the Bordeaux Rhum Festival.
Strengthening Retail Partnerships
Bail emphasised his mission to make Hiram & Solomon more accessible for partners and memorable for smokers.
“Our goal is simple. Make it easier for retailers and distributors to succeed with our portfolio while offering aficionados a consistent and memorable experience,” he said.
His role will also involve training programmes, guided tastings, staff education, and improved sales forecasting. To support retailers, Hiram & Solomon will provide digital tools such as shared asset libraries and sell-through toolkits.
