Black Works Studio Unveils Limited Edition Tigersaurus
Black Works Studio has announced the release of Tigersaurus, a bold new limited edition crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. The cigar begins shipping to select retailers next week and will debut in Europe later this month at InterTabac in Dortmund.
A Decade of the Tiger Series
The Tiger Series has played a central role in shaping the identity of Black Works Studio. For ten years, these cigars have embodied the brand’s creativity and craftsmanship. What started as factory exclusives in Nicaragua evolved into event-only cigars. Now, the Tigersaurus marks the first official limited Tiger release, created to celebrate the series’ anniversary.
A Bigger and Bolder Tiger
The Tigersaurus offers a powerful interpretation of the Tiger concept. It brings together wrappers of Pennsylvania Broadleaf, Connecticut Broadleaf, and Candela. Inside, Nicaraguan fillers provide strength and complexity, supported by an Ecuadorian binder. The result is a smoke that blends earthy richness with bursts of clean spice.
James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra, emphasised that the release reflects both artistry and skill. “As with all Tigers, the Tigersaurus highlights the artisanal craftsmanship of cigar making and showcases the skilled rollers at Fabrica Oveja Negra,” he explained.
