Casa de Montecristo Expands with Two New Cigar Lounges
Casa de Montecristo has added two more lounges to its growing network of premium cigar destinations. The new locations are in West Palm Beach, Florida and Villa Park, Illinois, bringing the total number of Casa lounges across the U.S. to 21.
Expansion into Florida and Illinois
The first lounge opened inside a Smoke Inn tobacconist in West Palm Beach. The second appeared in Villa Park, Illinois, taking over the space previously occupied by 8 to 8 Cigars. Both locations measure around 3,000 square feet, with significant space dedicated to comfortable cigar lounge areas.
A Brand Built on Community
Casa de Montecristo is a national chain of cigar stores operated by Tabacalera USA, the parent company of Altadis U.S.A. and trademark owner of Montecristo in the U.S.

Celebrating Tradition in Illinois
On August 30, 2025, the newly converted Casa de Montecristo in Villa Park hosted a dual celebration. The event marked the launch of the Montecristo 90th Anniversary cigar brand, while also honouring the 30th anniversary of 8 to 8 Cigars, first established in 1995.
Licensed Partnerships
Both lounges operate under licensed agreements, adding to Casa de Montecristo’s national footprint. With the two new openings, the chain now includes 14 company-owned stores and seven licensed retail partners.
