Alec Bradley Filthy Ghooligan Arrives Early for Halloween
The Alec Bradley Filthy Ghooligan has landed in humidors weeks before autumn officially begins. Forged Cigar Co. has started shipping the seasonal cigar, designed for aficionados seeking a Halloween-inspired smoke.
A Seasonal Spin-Off
The Filthy Ghooligan is a spooky counterpart to the well-known Filthy Hooligan, which appears annually around St. Patrick’s Day. Both are barber-pole cigars, crafted with intertwined wrappers that create striking contrast.
For the Ghooligan, Alec Bradley combines dark U.S. broadleaf with a lighter Ecuador Habano leaf, producing a bold striped effect. An Indonesian binder holds the cigar together, while Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers complete the blend.
Returning for a Second Year
This marks the second release of the Filthy Ghooligan line. The debut came in September 2024 and quickly attracted attention for its Halloween theme. The 2025 edition maintains the same format: a 6 x 50 toro, crafted at the HATSA factory in Honduras.
Each box contains 24 cigars, though buyers will notice a small price increase. This year’s Ghooligan retails at $14.49 per cigar, about 40 cents higher than last year’s version.
Distribution
The Filthy Ghooligan is distributed by Forged Cigar Co., part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG). With its seasonal release, the Ghooligan is expected to generate excitement among collectors and smokers looking for something unique as Halloween approaches.
