Tatuaje Revives The Mummy With Monster Redux Release
Tatuaje has brought back its legendary Mummy cigar as part of the Monster Redux Series. The release mirrors horror cinema’s recurring villains, returning just in time to thrill aficionados ahead of Halloween.
A Classic Monster Returns
The Monster Series from Tatuaje takes inspiration from classic horror characters. Each limited-edition cigar has become highly sought-after, with collectors and smokers eagerly awaiting each instalment.
The Mummy Redux mirrors that tradition. Like the monsters of film, it refuses to stay buried. This return ensures fans can once again experience a cigar that made a strong impact when first released.
Blend and Construction
The Mummy Redux is produced in Nicaragua at My Father Cigars S.A., a factory known for its consistency and quality. The blend stays true to the original release.
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Criollo

This profile delivers strength and flavour in equal measure, maintaining the balance that first established the Mummy’s reputation.
Limited Production
Tatuaje has confirmed that production is limited to 5,000 coffin-shaped boxes of 13 cigars. The design features blood-spattered boxes that enhance the spooky theme.
Out of the 5,000, exactly 666 boxes carry sequential numbering. A further 34 boxes marked “XX” are held in reserve for special occasions.
The Redux Legacy
Mummy Redux marks the fifth resurrection in Tatuaje’s Redux Monster Series. Previous returns include The Frank, The Drac, The Face and The Wolfman.
This latest release is expected to ship in early October, perfectly timed for Halloween celebrations.
