CigarKings COY 25 Majestic Flag Tail Launches at InterTabac 2025
CigarKings has revealed its latest limited edition, the COY 25 Majestic Flag Tail. This release aligns with Pantone’s 2025 Colour of the Year, mocha mousse, and will debut at InterTabac 2025 in Dortmund.
Colour of the Year Inspiration
Pantone names a new shade each year that influences fashion, design, and even cigars. For 2025, the chosen tone is mocha mousse, a light brown with pink undertones.
CigarKings has embraced this trend since 2022 with its COY Series. Each year, the Munich-based company designs a cigar reflecting Pantone’s annual choice.
The Majestic Flag Tail
The COY 25 Majestic Flag Tail is a 5 x 52 robusto featuring a striking flagtail over a triple cap. This detail adds both visual flair and craftsmanship to the cigar.
Blend Composition
The company highlights a carefully selected blend crafted in Nicaragua.
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano 2000 Colorado Claro
Binder: Dual Corojo-seed binders from Jalapa, Nicaragua
Filler: Habano 2000 from Estelí and Corojo from Jalapa
Strength: Medium-to-full
Factory: Undisclosed in Nicaragua
CigarKings notes that the wrapper’s hue mirrors Pantone’s mocha mousse, reinforcing the Colour of the Year theme.
Limited Availability
Production is restricted to 2,000 boxes of 12 cigars. Each cigar carries an MSRP of €15.50 (about $18.30). Collectors and enthusiasts should expect strong demand due to the limited run.
A Statement of Craft
Philipp Kugler, founder and CEO of CigarKings, described the release as a blend of elegance and modernity. He emphasised the harmony between tradition and contemporary creativity in this year’s COY edition.
The Majestic Flag Tail will be showcased this week at InterTabac 2025, the leading international trade fair for premium cigars.
