Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2025 Launches at Intertabac
Oliva Cigar Co. has unveiled its Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2025 at the Intertabac trade show in Dortmund, Germany. This limited-edition cigar celebrates the tobacco leaf itself, with global shipping beginning immediately.
A Return to Tradition
Last year’s Edición Limitada carried a musical theme. For 2025, Oliva returns to its roots. The new release is described as a “tribute to the tobacco leaf,” focusing on the pure craft that defines the Serie V Melanio line.
Size, Blend and Pricing
The Edición Año 2025 Robusto Extra measures 5 x 54. It will be sold in 10-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $18 per cigar.
The blend features:
Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatra
Binder and Fillers: Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on Oliva’s own farms
Factory: Tabolisa, Estelí, Nicaragua
This combination stays true to the Serie V Melanio reputation for rich flavour and complexity.
Oliva’s Vision
CEO Fred Vandermarliere spoke about the philosophy behind the annual limited edition:
“Oliva’s raison d’être revolves wholeheartedly around preserving and perfecting something pure, something that cannot be fabricated or rushed. That is why each year I look forward to the Oliva Serie V Melanio Limitada… an ode to the cycle that turns pure seeds into exclusive cigars.”
Availability
The Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2025 begins shipping worldwide this week, directly after its unveiling at Intertabac. Collectors and fans of the Melanio line can expect a cigar that continues Oliva’s tradition of annual special releases, blending heritage with exclusivity.
