Crowned Heads Unveils Mil Días Des Deux LE 2025
Crowned Heads has revealed its newest limited edition, the Mil Días Des Deux LE 2025. This dual-packaged release combines the original Mil Días Habano blend with the Maduro expression, presented in a classic corona grande vitola.
A Blend of Two Worlds
Mil Días Des Deux (French for “of the two”) offers 12 cigars per box. Each contains six Habano-wrapped Mil Días and six Maduro versions. Both blends are rolled in a 6 1/8 x 42 corona grande format, also called a long corona.
Each cigar will retail at $11.50, with production capped at 1,500 boxes—18,000 cigars total, split evenly between the two blends. Shipping begins in early October.
Inspiration Behind Des Deux
Crowned Heads co-owner Jon Huber traced the project back more than a decade. He recalled being introduced to the Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo Des Dieux, a cigar discontinued in 2014.
“That size always stayed with me,” Huber explained. “I even had My Father Cigars roll me a pair of bundles in our 2015 Las Calaveras blend, just to capture the format. I gave one to my friend and kept one for myself. Ever since, I wanted the right opportunity to put the Crowned Heads spin on it.”
The Des Deux project brings that vision full circle, marrying the Mil Días blends with a vitola rich in Cuban tradition.
Production and Craftsmanship
Like the regular Mil Días and Mil Días Maduro lines, Des Deux LE 2025 is produced at the TacaNisa factory (formerly Tabacalera Pichardo) in Estelí, Nicaragua. Production is overseen by Don Eradio Pichardo, ensuring consistency with the established Mil Días profile.
This limited edition gives enthusiasts the chance to experience both Mil Días blends in a refined, classic size that connects past inspirations with present craftsmanship.
