Bentley Cigars Launches Green GT in the U.S. – A 7×70 Giant Arrives Stateside
Bentley Cigars has announced the U.S. release of its Green GT, the largest cigar in the company’s portfolio. Measuring 7 x 70, this impressive vitola showcases Bentley’s signature craftsmanship and dedication to refined tobacco blending.
The Green GT uses an Ecuadorian rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan blend, mainly sourced from the Jalapa region. It is produced at Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, one of the oldest and most respected factories in the country. Each cigar carries an MSRP of $19 and comes in boxes of 20.
While the cigar itself is not new, this marks the first time the Green GT has been available in the U.S. market. Previously, the size was sold exclusively in select African markets.
Bentley Cigars – A Legacy Apart from Bentley Motors
It’s worth noting that Bentley Cigars is not affiliated with Bentley Motors, the British luxury car manufacturer. The cigar company is an entirely separate entity with a deep-rooted German tobacco heritage.
Bentley Tobacco is led by Martin Schuster, son of Phillip Schuster, the head of August Schuster GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bünde, Germany. The Schuster family has been active in the tobacco industry for over a century and remains one of the few families still producing cigars in Germany.
Beyond its own brand, the Schuster company also distributes cigars from CLE, Debonaire, Foundation, Patoro, and other respected names within Germany.
Expansion into the American Market
Earlier this year, Bentley Cigars established its U.S. subsidiary, with Jon Carney appointed as its head. The American launch of the Green GT symbolises the brand’s growing international ambitions and its commitment to bringing European tobacco craftsmanship to cigar enthusiasts worldwide.
This release marks an important step in Bentley’s broader plan to strengthen its presence beyond Europe while staying true to its independent, family-run roots.
