Weller by Cohiba 2025 Arrives in Stores
The latest chapter in the Weller by Cohiba collaboration has landed. General Cigar Co. unveils the 2025 edition, blending Cohiba’s craftsmanship with Weller bourbon’s rich heritage. This toro-sized release continues a successful partnership between cigars and whiskey craftsmanship.
The New Blend
The Weller by Cohiba 2025 cigar measures 6 x 50 and comes in elegant individual tubes. It features an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper, an American broadleaf binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The main change for this year lies in the binder. Unlike the 2024 version aged in Weller Full Proof barrels, the 2025 binder is aged in barrels once filled with Weller Antique 107. This tweak gives the blend a distinctive richness and boldness. Each cigar is priced at $29.99 MSRP.
Cohiba’s Statement on the Release
Sean Williams, Cohiba’s brand ambassador, described the 2025 edition as a milestone.
“Weller by Cohiba has become a highlight of our portfolio, and each edition brings a new dimension to this rare partnership,” said Williams. “This year’s release ties directly to Weller Antique 107, a bourbon with a loyal following and a profile that mirrors the bold, refined qualities Cohiba is known for.”
Collector’s Sampler and Accessories
Alongside individual cigars, General Cigar Co. has released a special sampler. It includes one cigar from each of the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 blends. The sampler also contains two branded rocks glasses and a travel humidor—ideal for collectors and enthusiasts.
For accessory lovers, the collection extends further:
Weller by Cohiba Red Ashtray – $119.99
Weller by Cohiba Precision Cutter – $59.99
Weller by Cohiba Lighter – $99.99
Weller by Cohiba Travel Humidor – $149.99
There’s also a Weller by Cohiba 3-Piece Gift Set priced at $299.99, which includes all accessories except the ashtray.
A Continued Collaboration
Produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery under Sazerac Co., Weller bourbon remains a powerhouse in the whiskey world. Since 2021, Scandinavian Tobacco Group and Sazerac have united to create a series of co-branded cigars inspired by Buffalo Trace’s celebrated whiskey range. The 2025 release once again highlights how fine tobacco and aged bourbon can form a perfect union.
