The United States Capitol Humidor: A Masterpiece by Daniel Marshall, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carlos Fuente
A Historic Collaboration of Craft and Legacy
The United States Capitol Humidor stands as a symbol of artistry, patriotism, and craftsmanship. Created by Daniel Marshall, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Carlos Fuente, this remarkable piece draws inspiration from the architectural grandeur of the U.S. Capitol Building.
The Vision Behind the Masterpiece
Governor Schwarzenegger envisioned a series of Historic Humidors representing international icons. The journey began with the HMS Resolute Desk Humidor in 2022, followed by the White House Humidor in 2023. This year, the trio unveils their grandest creation yet—the U.S. Capitol Humidor, handcrafted in 2025.
Exquisite Cigars and Artistic Detail
Carlos Fuente personally selected 12-year vintage tobacco from Chateau De La Fuente to craft the exclusive Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente Presidential Cigars. Each cigar, wrapped in Holland-printed bands, pays tribute to six U.S. Presidents who inspired the creators.
Inside the humidor, 360 cigars rest in Spanish cedar trays, accompanied by six oil-on-canvas portraits of the featured Presidents. Every detail honours history and artistry, turning each humidor into a statement piece.
Precision, Art, and American Ingenuity
Handmade in California, the humidor took more than a year to complete. It consists of 200 micro hand-carved components. Each window, painted by Colombian artist Juan Rosillo, features subtle shading to evoke the look of real glass.
The Capitol Dome conceals a humidified secret compartment designed to age 40 Presidential Cigars. Atop the dome, a solid bronze replica of the “Statue of Freedom” crowns the piece—faithfully recreated by a master jeweller.
A Tribute to Architectural Greatness
The dome design pays homage to the original U.S. Capitol structure, which took 10 years and nearly nine million pounds of cast iron to complete. Engraved brass plaques inside the humidor commemorate the six Presidents and the project’s story, while a golden plaque denotes its edition number. A stunning coffee table book, The United States Capitol, completes the ensemble.
A Rare Collectible and Philanthropic Gesture
Only 10 of these extraordinary humidors exist. Number One will be auctioned in Brentwood, California, on 11 October 2025, with proceeds benefiting the After School All Stars Foundation.
Limited edition cigars by Daniel Marshall and Carlos Fuente continue to command record-breaking attention at auctions, cementing their place not only as fine luxury items but also as collectible investments.
