The name Insomnia reflects more than a restless night—it captures the mental endurance and emotional strength demanded of those who work when the world sleeps. Dr. Rodriguez envisioned a cigar that offers the calm after the storm, a companion for reflective moments after relentless hours on duty.
Collaborating with his lifelong friend and fellow veteran, Mario Caraballo of Casa Caraballo Cigars, Rodriguez set out to craft a smoke that represents both resilience and reward. Together, they created a blend that celebrates those who thrive in the stillness of night.
The Blend: Crafted for the Late Hours
Insomnia comes in a (6 x 52) toro format—a bold and balanced expression of strength and depth. It features a dark Habano Oscuro wrapper paired with a Sumatra Indonesian binder. The filler blend combines premium Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa, offering a complex, full-bodied flavour that’s rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying.
