Aganorsa Leaf has unveiled a new take on its acclaimed Rare Leaf Reserve line—available exclusively at Cigars Daily in Phoenix, Arizona. The Rare Leaf Reserve Daily Edition Connecticut marks a fresh, refined chapter for the brand, crafted in collaboration between Terence Reilly, Aganorsa Leaf’s VP of Sales and Marketing, and Tim Swanson, founder of Cigars Daily.
A Creamy, Refined Take on a Modern Classic
The new release swaps the original Jalapa-grown wrapper for a Connecticut-seed wrapper from Ecuador, pairing it with a blend of Nicaraguan Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 tobaccos—both grown by Aganorsa. The result is a creamy, balanced smoke with signature Aganorsa depth, but a softer, more elegant expression suited to morning or daytime enjoyment.
Currently, the cigar is offered in a 6 x 54 toro format, priced at $13.99 per cigar or $188.79 per box of 15.

Inspiration Behind the Daily Edition Connecticut
“The Rare Leaf has always been a standout project for me,” said Tim Swanson. “Aganorsa always nails it with consistency, but I often found myself reaching for a Connecticut in the mornings and wondering why there wasn’t a Rare Leaf version.”
“When I asked Terence Reilly about it, he was open to the idea. We teamed up to make it happen—and now I get to start my day with the refined flavour I’ve wanted for a long time. My hope is that the cigar-smoking world will enjoy this project as much as I have.”
