Alec Bradley Releases the new Fine & Rare
The Alec Bradley Fine & Rare ANB-228 begins shipping on 3 November 2025, offering a bold blend of ten tobaccos and refined presentation.
The Fine & Rare Legacy
Since 2011, the Fine & Rare line has showcased complexity and craft. Each annual release uses ten different tobaccos—a concept that pushes blending boundaries. The 2025 edition continues that tradition while introducing fresh design changes after the brand’s acquisition by Scandinavian Tobacco Group in 2023.
The 2025 Edition: ANB-228 Churchill
Formally titled Alec Bradley Fine & Rare ANB-228, this cigar measures 7 × 50 in a Churchill vitola. Each stick combines one wrapper, two binders and seven fillers, totalling ten distinctive tobaccos.
Wrapper and Binders
- Wrapper: Trojes, Honduras
- Binders: Trojes (Honduras) and Estelí (Nicaragua)
This structure gives the cigar balance, depth, and smooth transition across flavour notes.
Fillers
The seven fillers include:
- Criollo (Dominican Republic)
- Jamastran (Honduras) × 2
- Jalapa (Nicaragua)
- Mexico San Andrés
- Estelí (Nicaragua)
- Jalapa (Nicaragua)
Together, they form a rich, multi-layered profile that reflects meticulous craftsmanship.
Craftsmanship at Raíces Cubanas
As with all Fine & Rare releases, ANB-228 is produced at the renowned Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras. This site is known for precision and traditional rolling methods. Brand ambassador Bradley Rubin described the blend as “one of the most luxurious and rewarding cigars” created in partnership with the factory’s artisans.
Packaging and Design Changes
The 2025 edition introduces the most noticeable packaging shift since the series began. Previous Fine & Rare boxes displayed cigars in wide trays of ten, held horizontally in wooden holders. The new look opts for a more traditional presentation, aligning with updated Alec Bradley branding under STG.
Each cigar is priced at US $19.99, and only 1,500 boxes will reach American brick-and-mortar retailers. The line will be distributed in the U.S. through Forged Cigar Co., part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
Why It Matters
Fine & Rare remains a showcase of blending skill and tobacco diversity. Collectors and enthusiasts can expect intricate flavours from its ten-leaf composition and a refined presentation that marks a new chapter in Alec Bradley’s story.
