The Broncano Classic Line Evolves
The Broncano Classic Rubi Toro joins the Royal Blue Toro and Silver Toro in the company’s growing Dominican portfolio. Released in October 2025, it continues Broncano’s vision of disciplined blending and precise construction.
Each cigar is handmade at Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) in Santiago, Dominican Republic, under the supervision of master blender Hendrik Kelner Jr. The project reflects Broncano’s collaboration with leading Dominican artisans and its drive to perfect balance and consistency.
The Blend: Crafted for Complexity
Wrapper, Binder, and Fillers

- Binder: San Vicente (Dominican Republic)
- Fillers: Dominican Criollo 98, Dominican Piloto Cubano, San Andrés Morron (Mexico), and U.S.A. Broadleaf
This mix delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile that balances depth with nuance. Smokers can expect notes of roasted coffee, dark cocoa, and warm spice, rounded by sweet cedar and molasses on the finish. Through the retrohale, toasted spice and faint floral tones enhance complexity.
Blending Philosophy
Founder Martin Smith described the Rubi Toro as “disciplined, balanced, and intentional.” He emphasised its design for enthusiasts who savour detail and structure in every draw, including those who appreciate the flavour development through retrohaling.
This cigar continues Broncano’s principle of Legacy in Every Leaf, honouring both heritage and precision.
Presentation and Design
The Rubi Toro comes in matte red 10-count boxes, complementing the minimalist aesthetic of the Classic series. Its ruby-red band with gold embossing and crowned insignia symbolise understated refinement.
Each cigar undergoes meticulous quality control at KBF, ensuring consistent combustion and structure.
Availability and Pricing
The Broncano Classic Rubi Toro carries an MSRP of US $15.50 per cigar or $155 per 10-count box. It will ship to retailers nationwide in November 2025 via City of Palms Cigar Distribution.
