Juan López Finos Edición Regional Launches in the Netherlands today
The new Juan López Finos, a limited Cuban Edición Regional cigar for the Netherlands, will make its debut on November 4 at La Casa del Habano locations nationwide.
A Rare Vitola for Dutch Enthusiasts
Habanos S.A. continues its tradition of regional exclusives with the launch of the Juan López Finos, an Edición Regional Países Bajos (Netherlands) release. The cigar features a panetela format measuring 6 inches (152mm) x 38, known as the Laguito No. 2—a size rarely seen in regular production.
Only a few cigars in Habanos’ portfolio use this slender and elegant shape, including the Cohiba Coronas Especiales and Montecristo Especiales No. 2. Recent Edición Regional releases have occasionally showcased the vitola, such as the Punch ManTua (2020) and the La Gloria Cubana Medaille D’Or Especial, made for Belgium and Luxembourg.
Limited Production and Pricing
The Juan López Finos will be priced at €23 per cigar (approximately US$26.48). Distribution company Laguito 1492, which oversees Habanos products in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, explained that this pricing strategy aims to keep the release accessible to a wide range of cigar enthusiasts.
Production is limited to 4,000 boxes of 25 cigars, amounting to a total of 100,000 cigars—a classic Edición Regional quantity that ensures exclusivity while still reaching a dedicated collector base.
Exclusive Launch and Rollout
The official debut will take place on Tuesday, November 4, across the four La Casa del Habano shops in the Netherlands. These locations will enjoy two weeks of exclusive sales rights, offering aficionados the first opportunity to purchase and experience the cigar.
From November 18, the Juan López Finos will become available at Habanos Specialists and Habanos Pointsthroughout the country, extending access to a wider audience of Cuban cigar lovers.
The release marks another step in Habanos’ commitment to the Dutch market, reinforcing the region’s growing importance in Europe’s premium cigar landscape.
