Fratello Cigars Concludes Concealed Carry Series with AA 1935

November 6, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Fratello Cigars has unveiled the final chapter in its Concealed Carry series — AA 1935, a cigar inspired by America’s conflicted return to indulgence after Prohibition. This small-batch release explores balance, reflection, and the complexity of human vice.

The Story Behind AA 1935

The AA 1935 draws inspiration from the year Alcoholics Anonymous was founded — 1935 — when America was still rediscovering its appetite for pleasure and self-restraint. It was a time when bars and basements buzzed with both celebration and struggle, two years after Prohibition’s end.

Omar de Frias, CEO and Founder of Fratello Cigars, described the concept as a philosophical exploration rather than a historical tribute:

“The AA 1935 is not a celebration of vice or restraint — it’s a study of balance. This cigar reflects that duality — indulgence tempered by introspection. It’s a smoke that invites reflection on the human struggle between control and surrender.”

A Thoughtful Final Chapter

Continuing the Concealed Carry tradition, the AA 1935 comes in a 5 ½ x 54 Robusto format. The cigar is limited to 1,000 canisters, each containing twelve cigars, with an MSRP of $10 per cigar.

As with all Concealed Carry releases, the blend remains undisclosed, preserving the mystery that defines this cult-favourite line. What is known, however, is its intent — a meditative smoke that bridges indulgence and awareness.

Reflection Through Craft

Fratello’s AA 1935 embodies the spirit of contemplation through craftsmanship. Each draw represents a conversation between excess and discipline, echoing the paradox that birthed both Alcoholics Anonymous and modern cigar culture itself.

For those who have followed the series from its inception, the AA 1935 offers a fitting conclusion — an invitation to savour, reflect, and appreciate the balance within.
