My Father Cigars Debuts Flor de las Antillas San Andrés at TAA Retailers

November 8, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

My Father Cigars has quietly introduced a new version of its popular Flor de las Antillas line, now featuring a Mexican San Andrés oscuro wrapper. Select members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) have begun receiving the cigars, marking the start of an exclusive early release.

A New Chapter for Flor de las Antillas

The new Flor de las Antillas San Andrés was showcased at the recent TAA meeting and trade show held in late October. While not part of the association’s official Exclusive Series Program, the line is being offered exclusively to TAA retailers for now.

A TAA representative noted that My Father Cigars is expected to make the line more widely available at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show, scheduled for 17–20 April in New Orleans.

Product Details and Pricing

According to several retailers, the Flor de las Antillas San Andrés comes in two soft box-pressed vitolas:

  • Robusto (5 x 52) — $12 (Box of 20, $240)
  • Toro (6 x 54) — $13 (Box of 20, $260)

The cigars retain the classic Flor de las Antillas band design, complemented by a black ribbon at the foot with “San Andres” inscribed in gold.

Blend and Origin

While My Father Cigars has yet to confirm full blend details, listings suggest the cigar uses a Mexican San Andrés oscuro wrapper. Reports differ regarding the binder and filler—some indicate Nicaraguan tobaccos like the original Flor de las Antillas, while others suggest Honduran leaf is involved.

Retailers also note production takes place at the company’s Estelí, Nicaragua factory, aligning with the rest of the Flor de las Antillas portfolio.

Context and Future Release

This isn’t the first time My Father Cigars has used TAA retailers for an early launch. In 2023, the company debuted the Don Pepin Vintage Edition through the same channel before expanding it to full distribution the following year.

Though the brand has not yet listed the San Andrés version on its website or social media, its arrival at TAA retailers signals another major evolution for one of My Father’s most acclaimed lines.
