Dalay Expands Sevilla Line with Three New Sizes for German Launch

November 23, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Dalay Zigarren expands its Sevilla line with three new sizes launching in Germany next week. The cigars feature brandy-aged Dominican fillers and an Ecuadorian wrapper with a unique fermentation process that enhances texture and visual depth.

New Sevilla Sizes Arrive in Germany

Dalay Zigarren prepares to debut three new Sevilla vitolas. The release comes just over a year after the limited ceramic jar edition. The first Sevilla appeared as a 5 5/8 x 54 robusto especial. The new cigars ship in traditional boxes. Fans of the original blend welcome the return. The launch strengthens the presence of the line in the German market.

Expansion of the Line

The company confirms the new options. The additions bring variety and accessibility. The blend stays rooted in the same concept. Dalay presents the cigars as the next stage of the project. Retailers expect demand from those who enjoyed the first batch.

Blend Profile and Production

The blend highlights Dominican fillers aged in barrels. The barrels once held Dalay Sevilla Brandy. The brand claims that the ageing adds depth. Aromas from the spirit enrich flavour.

Wrapper, Binder, and Character

A Dominican binder supports the core. An Ecuadorian wrapper completes the cigar. The wrapper undergoes a special fermentation. The process darkens the colour. It increases texture and visual contrast. The wrapper comes from a lower priming. Dalay says that the change matches the original batch better. The profile sits at medium strength. Notes include dark chocolate, stewed fruit, and honeyed sweetness. The flavour recalls Pedro Ximenez sherry. The cigars are made at the Zauberberg factory in the Dominican Republic. Dalay calls the facility a joint venture boutique factory. Dominican partners supervise production. The collaboration dates back almost three decades.

Size List, Pricing, and Distribution

Dalay confirms three new formats:

  • Dalay Sevilla Mareva Extra (4 1/2 x 44) — €7.50 (Box of 25, €187.50)

  • Dalay Sevilla Robusto (5 x 52) — €9 (Box of 25, €225)

  • Dalay Sevilla Super Churchill (7 x 54) — €12 (Box of 25, €300)

The cigars go on sale on Nov. 24 in Germany. Austria follows next year. No wider distribution is planned at this time. Collectors and enthusiasts look forward to availability.
