Major Donation from Cigars International Boosts CFW Mission
Operation: Cigars for Warriors (CFW) has announced a significant new contribution from Cigars International. The company donated $40,000 in gift cards to support U.S. troops serving in combat zones. These gift cards allow deployed service members to buy cigars and accessories directly from the Cigars International website. The latest donation continues a long-running relationship. Cigars International has supported CFW for many years.
Steve McDevitt presented the donation on behalf of Cigars International. He highlighted the commitment of the CI Nation community. Each Veterans Day, customers unite to honour deployed troops. McDevitt stated that Cigars International feels humbled by the strong response. He added that the donation reflects deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families. For the company, supporting the troops is not only a responsibility but also a privilege.
Storm Boen, Chairman and CEO of Operation: Cigars for Warriors, praised the ongoing partnership. He noted that Cigars International continues to offer exceptional support. He thanked the company for its leadership and commitment. Volunteers and deployed men and women benefit directly from such efforts.
CFW is a registered 501(c)(3) charity. Since 2012, it has delivered more than 1.7 million cigars to U.S. troops. The charity also sends coffee, magazines, lighters and cutters. Its mission helps lift morale for those serving in active combat zones.
