Natura Cigars Names City of Palms as U.S. Distributor

January 29, 2026 Inspector X 2 min read

Natura Cigar Co. has secured a new partner for the American market. The Dominican brand has signed an agreement with City of Palms Distribution for U.S. distribution.

The move marks a major step for a young company with a fast-growing reputation. Natura aims to strengthen its U.S. footprint and prepare for wider global expansion.

A Strategic Shift in U.S. Distribution

Natura confirmed the partnership after several weeks of discussions. The agreement formally places U.S. distribution in City of Palms’ hands.

Dary Muñoz, Natura’s international sales director, described the deal as a turning point. He said the partnership opens a new chapter for the brand. He also pointed to stronger positioning in the U.S. market and broader international ambitions.

The company sees the agreement as more than logistics. Natura views it as brand validation. A national distributor brings scale, visibility, and retail access.

Natura’s Unusual Tobacco Story

High-Altitude Farming in the Dominican Republic

Jacob Yfrach founded Natura Cigars in 2020. He also works as a vegetable farmer. His agricultural background shaped Natura’s approach to tobacco.

Natura’s farm sits in Constanza, located in the central mountains of the Dominican Republic. The region has the coldest average temperatures in the Caribbean.

The farm stands roughly 1,350 metres above sea level. Cooler weather and altitude extend the growing season. Natura says this allows more gradual leaf development.

Slower Aging and Leaf Preservation

Natura also uses temperature-controlled aging. The company favours a slower process. That approach aims to preserve sugars and natural oils in the tobacco.

The method differs from standard production timelines. It has helped the brand develop a distinct profile. Many consumers cite balance and refinement as calling cards.

Despite its size, Natura has built a cult following. Enthusiasts praise the farming story as much as the cigars themselves.

City of Palms’ Role in the Market

City of Palms operates out of Fort Myers. The distributor handles U.S. distribution for nearly two dozen cigar brands.

The company has built a reputation for boutique-focused portfolios. It works closely with retailers across multiple states. That reach should give Natura broader shelf presence.

For City of Palms, Natura adds a high-altitude Dominican brand with a compelling narrative. For Natura, the partnership provides structure and scale in a competitive market.
